Cost
A ticket for this event is £25. Lunch is included. If you have any food allergies, or are vegetarian/ vegan, please let us know when you book a ticket.
The event uses modifications to the Muster Your Armies steps and Missions steps. These modifications are detailed below.
Modifications:
Instead of selecting one list, players select two 2000 point lists with the following addendum to Stages 4, 5, and 6 of the Muster Your Armies process, and to Stage 3 of the Missions process.
Stage 4:
Replace ‘your army’ with ‘each army'.
Effect: you may select a Detachment rule for each roster.
Example: a Tyranid player may use Invasion Fleet for one roster, and Synaptic Nexus for another. Alternatively, they may use Invasion Fleet for both rosters.
Stage 5:
Replace ‘your army’ with ‘each army’.
Effect: all army creation rules apply separately to each roster, but don't cross over between them.
Example: You may include three of the same unit (or six with the Battleline keyword) in each roster - the rule of three does not apply between rosters.
Example: a player includes one Illuminor Szeras unit in their first roster. They may include an Illuminor Szeras unit in their second roster.
Stage 6:
Replace ‘your’ with ‘each’.
Effect: you pick one Warlord for each roster.
Stage 3:
Add the following sentence at the end of the paragraph:
“Players then simultaneously declare which of their rosters they are using for the mission.”
Example: Player A is using Invasion Fleet and Synaptic Nexus. Player B is using Gladius Task Force and 1st Company Task Force. Player A selects Invasion Fleet and Player B selects 1st Company Task Force. Each player then simultaneously reveals their choice, so Player B finds out Player A’s selection at the same time as Player A finds out Player B’s selection.
General FAQs:
Q: Am I obliged to use two rosters?
A: No, you may use one if you prefer.
Q: Am I allowed to use two different Space Marine Chapters to create my rosters?
A: No, because Stage 3 of Muster Your Armies is unmodified - you still select one Faction keyword, such as Dark Angels or Ultramarines.
Q: How do Ynnari work in this format?
A: Like a Craftworlds list.
Q: Am I allowed to take lists from 2 different factions ie Orks & Tyranids.
A: No
Q: Am I allowed to take 2 different detachments for each list such as Hypercrypt Legion & Canoptek Court?
A: Yes
We offer a click & collect/ collect in store option from our Leeds store.
To use it simply select the pick up option on the checkout.
If you forget to do this and are given postage options click the return to information button to go back and select pick up.
Once we have received your order we will pick it and email you to tell you it's ready for collection.
The email will also contain up to date COVID information and opening times.
